Truancy Court Support Services

Royal Mentoring Group provides structured, relationship-based support for justice-involved youth navigating truancy-related court matters. Our team works alongside youth, families, schools, and court partners to reduce unexcused absences, strengthen accountability, and build stability at home and in the community—while helping youth stay engaged in school and compliant with court expectations.

Court Appearance Support

We attend truancy court proceedings to advocate for and support youth, ensuring they understand expectations, remain aligned with court orders, and have consistent guidance throughout the legal process. We provide progress updates, help coordinate service referrals when appropriate, and reinforce a plan for attendance and behavior improvement.

School-Based Support Visits

We conduct on-campus visits for justice-involved youth enrolled in school to help address barriers to attendance and performance. Services may include check-ins, mentoring, attendance planning, coordination with school staff, and support with goal-setting, conflict resolution, and classroom engagement.

Community and Home Visits

For youth managing ongoing court cases, we provide in-community and at-home visits to strengthen support systems and reduce risk factors contributing to truancy. We work with caregivers to establish routines, improve communication, connect families to resources, and create practical plans that promote stability and consistent school attendance.
