CLAUDIA CARRILLO
Claudia Carrillo is a bilingual nonprofit professional and community leader with over 14 years of experience supporting youth, families, and underserved communities through education, food access, and community-based program development. She currently serves in a leadership role overseeing initiatives that provide essential resources to over 400 families weekly while developing innovative, community-driven programs.
Claudia brings a strong background in working with youth and families, with early experience in inclusive early childhood education and ongoing work designing programs that remove barriers and increase access to critical services. She has successfully implemented multi-site initiatives across schools, coordinated partnerships with community organizations and vendors, and is currently leading a pilot home delivery program to reach families facing access challenges.
She also co-leads a Community Advisory Board, working alongside community members and organizational leadership to ensure programs reflect the voices, needs, and priorities of the families being served.
Known for her ability to turn ideas into action, Claudia is often called upon for strategic planning, program development, and community engagement efforts. Her work is rooted in building trust, fostering relationships, and creating culturally responsive programs that meet real community needs.
In addition to her professional work, Claudia is an active advocate for education equity and criminal justice reform. She has provided public testimony at the Colorado State Capitol and continues to engage in community organizing to uplift youth and family voices.
Claudia holds certifications in Early Childhood Education and Human Resources Essentials and is a certified public notary in the State of Colorado. She is passionate about strengthening communities, increasing access to resources, and creating opportunities that empower families to thrive.
