Omari Hardwick
Omari Hardwick is actively involved in community service and philanthropy, with a strong focus on empowering youth, promoting literacy, and supporting the arts.
He is the co-creator of this initiative, a program under the Jason Taylor Foundation that offers free spoken word poetry programs to students in Broward County, Florida, public schools. The network also includes a "Poetry Corner" at the Jason Taylor Reading Room
Youth Mentorship and Empowerment: Hardwick frequently speaks at events for young people, including Hillsborough Community College’s Black Brown Collegebound (BBCB) Summit, where he has addressed over a thousand minority college students and community members.
Philanthropic Activities: He has participated in charitable initiatives to support youth programs and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, worked to help feed medical workers on the front lines
Community Advocacy: He has served as a 2024 Magic City Classic ambassador, supporting HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) pride and tradition.
